We also offer several options for your PVC plastic card orders such as adding variable data, numbering, changing photos from one card to another, barcodes and even magnetic bars. You can add a perforated hole to allow the cards to be inserted in portable neck straps and even the possibility of scratch off latex that can be added for your coupons or lottery type cards for your contests or fundraisers

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is variable data in the PVC card options?
A: Variable data allows you to have certain print fields that are different from one printed copy to the next.
For example, if you want to print 100 PVC plastic cards for 100 employees in your company, you can provide a single visual print file and an EXCEL file with the 100 first and last names of your employees; thus, with the option of variable data you will get 100 plastic cards with the same visual but with 100 different names printed on them.

Q: Can I write anything I want on my PVC plastic cards?
A: No. As with any print, you must have the rights to the images, texts and brand names you use. But be aware that even for a simple gift certificate promotion made using PVC plastic cards, it is forbidden to copy the look of a credit card or debit card. In the case of employee cards, it is forbidden to put personal data such as the date of birth or the social insurance number or any other personal, private information of the employees. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to print any orders for PVC plastic cards that may violate these rules.

Q: Does your magnetic stripe work with all types of machines?
A: We have more than one option for magnetic bars on the back of PVC plastic cards that are supposed to work with all types of machines. To make sure they will work for you, before placing your order, send us an email at info@nuprint.ca with the type of magnetic card reader you have and we can confirm the type of magnetic stripe to choose from our products to make sure it will work for you.

Q: How can I prepare my file with the barcode information I want to have on my PVC cards?
A: A barcode is actually just a text font; so you can either tell us the word you want to write in barcode as well as the type of machine and software you use to read your barcodes since there are several different machines and they do not all read the same barcode fonts . Send us an email at info@nuprint.ca with the type of reader you have and we will be able to confirm the type of barcode font to choose from with your order of PVC plastic cards so that it works for you. You can also just give us the info of your machine and have our design staff make the perfect design using the appropriate barcode text font for your needs.

Q: When can I expect to receive my PVC card order?
A: Our plastic PVC cards are produced in 10 to 12 open days and shipped in 1-2 additional days.
